Death Knight Build: Blood With Permanent Ghoul

There are an array of interesting and useful Death Knight builds. Death Knights are truly a diverse and flexible class, with talents that include high DPS, tanking, off tanking or main tanking, counter spells, kiting, and self healing.

One interesting build that we found was a Blood build with permanent ghoul and blood worms. Sounds good? Well, it is. The ghoul stays up and helps with stun, kiting, dps and ranged melee attacks. The blood worms do DPS and heal the DK.

Macro: Target Self with Bandage

Target yourself and then auto heal self with bandages.

Macro Help: Quick marking with macro plus key binding

This macro lets you mark a target quickly. It uses a keybinding along with the macro button.

1.) First create the macro:

2.) Bind a visual reference using the number key:

1. Yellow 4-point Star
2. Orange Circle
3. Purple Diamond
4. Green Triangle
5. White Crescent Moon
6. Blue Square

Macro Help: Auto Assist Tank

If the tank is attacking a target ( that can be attacked ) and is not dead, here is a macro to assist the tank:

Zooming Out Really Far ( To Pluto )

Zoom out using a macro:

/console CameraDistanceMax 25
/console CameraDistanceMaxFactor 2

If you feel like returning to your normal view, or encounter difficulties with your zooming spaceship, the following commands may be of use:

/console CameraDistanceMax 15
/console CameraDistanceMaxFactor 1

Just type them into chat and you'll be all set!

Rogue Weapon Swap

We have been looking for great rogue tricks. Recently we were given a good tip and also found this on a form as well. It is a weapon swap--changing a dagger for the initial attack for a sword ( post ambush ).

Macro ( Case sensitive )

/cast Ambush (rank X)
/script WeaponSwap "(Name of sword here)","(Name of dagger here)"

Death Knights in PVP: Ownership

In PVP combat Death Knights are one of the top classes. Most all top 2V2 arena teams contain a Death Knight and a Paladin. One of the reasons Death Knights are so fierce in PVP is that they have counter spells against all other classes.

For PVP there are two specs that you should use: Unholy and Blood.

Weakness:
- susceptibility to snare and root effects

To close the gap during PVP:
- must rely instead upon either Death Grip to close the distance gap or Chains of Ice
